History

Originally named Colorado Springs World Arena . However, in April 2014, after an agreement with Anschutz Entertainment Group, owner of The Broadmoor resort, officially renamed the Broadmoor World Arena.

Arena hosted the Skate America editions of 1999, 2000, and 2001.

From 2001 to 2005, the PBR, which at that time headquartered in Colorado Springs, hosted the Bud Light Cup (later Built Ford Tough Series) at this venue. After 2005, PBR headquarters were relocated to Pueblo, Colorado, thus halting the production of this event. However, this event was brought back to the World Arena in 2014 after a 9-year absence (although the PBR is still based in Pueblo).
