Regal Entertainment (formerly known as Regal Films ) is a Filipino film and entertainment company, based in Quezon City. Founded by Lily Monteverde in 1962. It has produced movies of all genres. This is the oldest film studio that still survives in the Philippines

History
At first, Ms. Lily and her father Remy installed popcorn kiosks at the Podmon Theater in C.M. Recto, Manila (who served as Regal's headquarters before moving to Valencia studio). Regal Films starts with distributing foreign films, such as Men from Istanbul , Marsha and All My Own to Give , pouring money for Mrs. Lily to produce local movies. In 1976, Ms. Lily requested permission from her father to make her first project, Kayod sa Umaga, Kayod sa Gabi . It was a big hit later in the cinema. Alma Moreno is the first star to have an exclusive contract with Regal, becoming the first of Baby Regal.
In the early years, Regal Films produced local films in "adult" and "bold" styles, although it also produced "healthy" images. In 1987, he traveled on local television; "Regal Television" produced several entertainment programs in the 80s and 90s and aired on three different channels, ABS-CBN 2, GMA 7 and IBC 13.
