The Entertainment Quarter is the entertainment area of ââEastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Entertainment Quarter is located next to Fox Studios Australia on the outskirts of Moore Park, located 3 kilometers south-east of the central business district of Sydney and is part of the local government area of ââSydney City.

Facilities
The area has many specialty shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, two cinemas (both owned by Hoyts), live entertainment including comedy shops and functional centers, children's playgrounds, parks and sports entertainment facilities such as ten pin bowling and ice rink during the winter.
The Showring hosts a Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays and Merchandise Markets on Saturdays and Sundays. Retailers include Sanity music retailers, and fashion shops Esprit and Bay Switzerland.

History
The Entertainment Quarter and Fox Studios Australia, originally was the Royal New Sydney Sydney Royal Showground Board of Agriculture which hosts the annual Sydney Royal Easter Show. The Sydney Showground moved to Homebush Bay in preparation for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Several venues built for the Olympics are now used for annual performances.
Fox Studios Australia and the entertainment area opened at Moore Park in 1998. The amusement park at this location was closed and several facilities have found new uses in 'The Entertainment Quarter'.
