Star Gold Coast (formerly Jupiters Hotel and Casino ) is a casino and hotel located on the outskirts of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. The Casino, first in Queensland, is located next to the River Nerang and operated by Star Entertainment Group. Opened in February 1986 as Conrad Jupiters. In 2017, the brand was named The Star, Gold Coast.
One percent of gaming casino gaming revenue is kept in the Benefits Fund of the Jupiters Casino Community. The Fund was established in 1987, supporting nonprofit community-based groups and managed by the Queensland Government.
The seven acre complex includes eight bars, seven restaurants, conference facilities, a ballroom, a theater, a health spa and a fitness center. The hotel, with 592 rooms, stands 66 meters (216 feet) and has 21 floors. This complex is governed by the Jupiters Casino Agreement Act .

Jupiters Theater underwent a revamp and expansion worth $ 20 million and reopened in June 2012. The theater redevelopment generated more than double the capacity to accommodate 2,000 seated guests or 2,300 general admissions and theater watching experience will be enhanced through cutting-edge technology and architecture.
The rebuilding of the theater includes the creation of a balcony level with up to 300 seats, VIP Hospitality space for pre and post functions, a new bar on the balcony and orchestral level, new toilets on balconies and orchestral levels, integrated built-in projection booths, multi-stage thrust mechanics -the goal, improving disabled access to all areas, and increasing the dressing room space.
In 2008, Jupiters stopped producing in-house events and now features international shows like Mother Africa, ABBA Revival, Burn The Floor, Dance of Desire, and STOMP.

History
The Conrad Jupiters Casino was opened on November 22, 1985. This included in the merger of Jupiters in November 2003 with Tabcorp. In April 2010, the brand was renamed Jupiters Hotel & Casino. In 2011, it became part of the Echo Entertainment Group when Tabcorp registered casino assets.
Jupiters Hotel & amp; The casino made headlines in 1995 when Brisbane Broncos Rugby League player Julian O'Neill urinated on the carpet under the black jacks on two separate occasions. 2017 expansion
In August 2015, work began on a $ 345 million rebuilding casino including the construction of a 17-story tower.
