The 2009-10 CHL season is the 18th season of the Central Hockey League (CHL). The season runs from October 16, 2009 to March 20, 2010, followed by the Ray Miron President Playoffs Cup.
The 2010 Central Hockey League All-Star Game is on January 13, 2010 at the Laredo Entertainment Center.
The season ends on May 4, 2010 when Rapid City Rush beat Allen America in double overtime hours.

Business league
American Allen (Allen, TX) and Missouri Mavericks (Independence, MO) added, New Mexico Scorpions and Oklahoma City Blazers folded, and Rocky Mountain Rage halted operations, in hopes of rejoining the league for the 2010-11 season.
