The Brisbane Entertainment Center is a multi-purpose arena located on the outskirts of Brisbane, Boondall, Queensland, Australia. The center is managed by AEG Ogden.
The Arena has a variety of seating plans that facilitate the convenience of its users, depending on its performance. A special seating plan is usually allocated, depending on the performance and size of the audience. The general seating arrangement is the final stage mode, "in rotation" and intimate mode, which uses only half of the arena. The center also has complex and small sports rooms that can be rented for wedding receptions and business functions.
The center has 11,000 tiered seats and a maximum 14,500 concert capacity making it Brisbane's largest indoor amusement arena and Australia's second largest permanent indoor arena behind only 21,000 Sydney Super Dome capacities (smaller than 14,820 Rod Laver Arena seats and 14,856 seats in Perth Arena , although both places have a roof that can be opened). It costs $ 71 million to build.
Large audience capacity is mostly used for concert performances and musical theater performances, including One Direction Take Me Home Tour, Swear Tour and Speak Now from Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes' Illuminate World Tour, Grease, Beauty and the Beast, and The Man of Snowy River: Spectacular Arena. It has also held ice-skating shows, including Disney On Ice . The Entertainment Center was also the set for the original Australian Gladiators series from 1995 to 1997.
