JYP Entertainment Corporation (Korea: JYP ??????) is a South Korean entertainment company founded by Park Jin-young in 1997. The company operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production companies, and music publishers. Currently one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea.

History
JYP Entertainment was founded in 1997 by South Korean singer and record producer Park Jin-young as "Tae-Hong Planning Corporation", which eventually became "JYP Entertainment" in 2001. Studio and headquarters of the US branch, JYP USA, officially opened in New York City in June 2007.
On July 1, 2001, Park Jin Young, founder and CEO of JYP Entertainment, held an open audition called Talent & amp; Live Voice Project 99% Competition to find talented young women who will be trained for ideas planned to create their first girl group.
In December 2000, JYP Entertainment signed Rain as a trainee, and he debuted in April 2002 as a soloist

In early 2008, JYP Entertainment announced that it would launch a new group, JYP Entertainment launched the first documentary-style reality television program on the South Korean music channel, M.Net. The "Hot Blood Men" show provides behind-the-scenes views to JYPE training ground and the life of JYPE trainees. Two teams of male participants raced against each other for the chance to debut with the label as the band's next subsidiary. The conclusion of the reality series saw the emergence of the boyband "ONE DAY" which later divided into two groups of 2PM and 2AM, which debuted in 2008. In October 2008, JYP Entertainment expanded by opening JYP Beijing Center as their China. branch. That same year, CAA (Creative Artists Agency) entered JYP Entertainment in its high-profile client list.
In June 2009, JYP Entertainment and Jonas Group signed a management agreement allowing the Wonder Girls to join the Jonas Brothers World Tour in selected cities as the opening act.
On July 1, 2010 miss A, the second female group debut under JYPE's subsidiary, AQ Entertainment. In early July, Rain starts selling J.Tune Entertainment shares, after which he negotiates with Park Jin-yong and hopes to hand the company over to Park Jin-yong before applying. KMP Holdings was acquired by KT Music in November 2012, and in June 2013, KT Music absorbed the KMP distribution network. In January 2014, seven talent agencies behind KMP Holdings formed a collective bond partnership and bought 13.48% of KT Music shares, leaving KT Corporation with 49.99%.
On February 16, 2010, J.Tune Entertainment held an extraordinary shareholders meeting to combine JYP entertainment and J.Tune entertainment into one, it became effective on February 23, and changed its name to JYP Entertainment to make JYP Entertainment a registered company, while renaming the original from JYP Entertainment co.,. Ltd to JYP Entertainment Corporation ((?) ??? ??). In April 2017, Tencent Music Entertainment and JYPE China (NCC Station) jointly established Beijing Xin Sheng Entertainment Co., Ltd. to learn from its artists to develop models, and the offline art school and its brokerage company transported the trainees

JYP Foods Inc was founded in 2010. On March 27, 2012, Park Jin-young opened his first restaurant Kristalbelli in New York City. This restaurant is known as the most expensive Korean BBQ restaurant in America, and for the use of a crystal grill.
Studio J bar was created on June 2, 2016 as a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and the famous Chungdam District bar called Y1975.
The Street is a cafe lunch and bistro owned by JYP Entertainment. The main branch is located near JYP Entertainment office building, and another branch is located in Gyeongridan area, Itaewon. This place is used for interviews or meetings by JYP (Jin Young Park) and artist under JYP Entertainment label. The terrace also provides a relaxing lounge for visitors at this cafe.
Beijing Xin Sheng Entertainment Co., Ltd.
