MESA Certification is the Association of Mobile Electronic Schools, an organization initiated by a private mobile electronic school. The Association develops educational standards for all approved mobile electronic training facilities, and prepares graduates for careers in car audio.

Exam
The MESA exam provides a standard for individual training to become an installation technician. Each examination includes two parts: theory (written) and practical (hands-on).
The Installation Knowledge Exam (IKE) - combines five areas of mobile electronic installation elements. The test is taken at the beginning of the class. The Installation Knowledge Exam is a prerequisite for other MESA exams.
Audio System Certification (ASC) - review daily installation skills. Students usually take this exam at the end of the 5th or 5th week of training.
Security System Certification (SSC) - test the vehicle security area and start long distance.
MESA certification is offered at the Installer Institute in Daytona, Florida and Acoustic Edge in Houston, Texas.
