The John W. H. Bassett Theater is a multi-purpose theater located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Front Street, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. The theater is regularly used by the CTV Television Network for television shows such as Canadian Idol and Talent Got Canada.

1,232 seats, the versatile theater is a stand-alone place in Toronto's North Metro Metro Convention Center. The adjacent rooms host the pre- and post-performance receptions. The theater also hosts corporate events, a number of nationally televised awards, community events and national and international TV shows.

The theater is named for John Bassett, founder of Baton Broadcasting, Bell Media's primary predecessor, parents of the CTV Television Network. Since 2003, the theater has been regularly used by CTV for programs such as Canadian Idol and used in December 2011 for Toronto Canada Got Talent auditions.
